Told you so

A new study conducted by a Finnish research team has found little evidence to support the idea of man-made climate change. The results of the study were soon corroborated by researchers in Japan.

In a paper published late last month, entitled ‘No experimental evidence for the significant anthropogenic climate change’, a team of scientists at Turku University in Finland determined that current climate models fail to take into account the effects of cloud coverage on global temperatures, causing them to overestimate the impact of human-generated greenhouse gasses.

Given the evidence presented in the study, the Finnish team rounded out the paper by concluding “we have practically no anthropogenic climate change,” adding that “the low clouds control mainly the global temperature.”

The results sharply cut against claims put forward by many environmentalists, including US lawmakers such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who argue not only that climate change is an immediate threat to the planet, but that it is largely a man-made phenomenon. Ocasio-Cortez, better known as ‘AOC’, has proposed a ‘Green New Deal’ to address the supposedly dire threat.

I had a simple anecdotal method of figuring out there’s no climate change. Like, watching things for 40 years and noticing that nothing changed. Sea level rise estimated from tidal markings on known places: zero. Average weather patterns: the same. If not for the hysterical communists, one would see no problem whatsoever.

  1. Local climate did change, winters are MUCH milder in our region with continuing trend, there is no doubt about it.

Sure, there were warm Februaries, but never warm entire winter.

Rivers were always frozen most of the winter, not any more and we were under snow for months not days like now.
Heck, my elders used to go with horses over Drava through most of winter for trade.

Problem is, communist use that local change as out of context proof for their theories without any desire to really understand what is going on.

    • Local weather in Zagreb is also foggier and warmer since they made the Krško nuclear power plant which warms up the Sava river, so those local changes can and almost always do have local causes. However, there have also been several situations in the recent years where the cold polar air froze Europe and America and even that was attributed to global warming. Even if there happens to be an ice age they would keep claiming it’s actually an artifact of climate instability caused by the rising anthropogenic CO2. That’s how you know it’s not scientific: when it’s falsified they just spin another explanation. I started by accepting the CO2 global warming model in the late 1980s but in the 2010s I compared the predictions I’ve been gathering through the years with the actual situation and decided that the predictions were catastrophic and the situation on the ground is normal. Being someone with a more-less scientific mentality I just couldn’t swallow this bullshit anymore.
